Understanding the Workgroups Portal User Interface

Workgroups Portal uses an advanced web-based interface that allows you to quickly and efficiently perform your work. Functional areas of Workgroups Portal are consolidated in specific "Tabs" that span horizontally across the top of the page. By using the tabbed navigation available in Workgroups Portal, you can quickly navigate through the various components available to you.

In addition to the Navigation Tabs discussed above, Workgroups Portal also makes use of a sidebar that provides quick access to search functionality and frequently visited pages (Recent Items).

The sidebar is visible from all pages that display the Tabs. For more information on the tools contained in the Sidebar, refer to Using the Quick Search and Recent Items.
