The Shape Properties branch of the Properties panel provides the ability to define and control the dimension and appearance attributes of form objects selected in the form.
The ShapeProperties branchprovides controls for defining thedimensions, line width, and fill attributes for selected form objects.
Shape Properties

Location
Displays the location of the currently selected form objects, in points from the left and top of the form.
Left
Distance in points the selected form object is from the left border of the form.
Top
Distance in points the selected form object is from the top border of the form.
Size
Displays the size of the currently selected form objects, in points.
Width
Width in points of the selected form object.
Height
Height in points of the selected form object.
Line Width
Drop down list for selecting the line width of form objects. This list is active only for form objects that support custom line width attributes.
Fill
Drop down list for selecting fill properties for form objects. This list is active only for form objects that support custom fill attributes.
Color
Displays the color properties for the currently selected form objects. The current color is identified by a color swatch and by the numerical R,G,B color values. Clicking on the color properties will reveal a standard color chooser See Color Chooser for additional details.
Font
Displays font summary information for the selected form object(s). Font attributes are not directly editable in this cell. Instead, use the Font Name, Font Size, Bold, and Italic controls below to change the font attributes.
Font Name
Drop down list for selecting font from those available on your system.
Font Size
Drop down list for selecting a font size for the selected form objects.
Bold
Control for applying a bold type attribute to text in the selected form objects.
Italic
Control for applying an italic type attribute to text in the selected form objects.
Text Alignment
Drop down list for selecting text alignment for text in selected form objects. Text alignment attributes include Left align, Center align, and Right align.
Procedures
Adjusting the properties of multiple shapes simultaneously
Select multiple shapes in the form. The Shape Properties branch of the Properties panel will display information for any properties the selected shapes have in common.
Apply properties to the selected shapes using the fields and menus available in the Shape Properties branch of the Properties panel.
Note: If a Shape attribute is applicable to one or more of the selected form objects, changes to the attribute will be applied to any applicable form object within the form objects selected in the form.
Applying Font attributes to a form object
Select a form object (or multiple objects) containing text or text within a form object.
Select font attributes in the Shape Properties branch of the Properties panel. The selected attribute(s) will be applied to the text.
