- While logged in to the Virtual Ticket desktop client as the Administrator, select System Setup from the Administration menu, and navigate to the File Cabinet subsection. This will open the File Cabinet window if it is not open, or bring it to the front if it is already open.
- Select the folder or document type for which you would like to create a form, click New and then select Form in the popup menu. You may also click New and then Form while the Forms group or any existing form is selected under the desired record type. The new form properties will be displayed in the right side of the File Cabinet.
- Type the name of the form in the Name field.
- OPTIONAL: Specify the dimensions (width and height, in inches) of the form in the Size fields. The default form dimensions are 8.5x11 inches. If dimensions are not specified here, they can be specified in the Form Editor.
- OPTIONAL: Specify the print offsets (width and height, in inches) of the form in the appropriate Offset fields. These values indicate the distance the form will be offset (vertically and horizontally) from the edge of the paper when printing. The default print offset is 0.5x0.5 inches. If the print offsets are not specified here, they can be specified in the Form Editor.
- Click Save. This will save the new form to the Virtual Ticket database and display the form within the navigation tree of the File Cabinet window.
