Accessing Located Files

Easy access to files is provided in two ways: direct access for online files and retrieval-mediated access for offline or unavailable files. Retrieval-mediated access differs from direct access in only one way: files must be retrieved before they can be opened or managed. Otherwise, DSM provides the same level of accessibility for all files.
