Changing the Administrator Password
The default Administrator password to the Digital Storage Manager system is “admin”, though this may have been changed when the database was initially created or at any point thereafter. The Administrator’s password may be changed via the Users & Groups setup window, or by using the Change Password window of the Digital Storage Manager application while logged in as the Administrator. Be sure to change the Administrator password to something that will be secure yet easily remembered.
Note: If you do not remember the Administrator’s password, you can change it using the Server Configurator application. See the “Using the Configuration Tool” chapter in the Server Installation Guide for additional details.
