Enabling the Nero Burning Helper

The Nero CD/DVD Burning Helper is available to simplify the authoring of archived CD/DVD media. This Helper Application needs to be enabled before it will become available to users of the Digital Storage Manager desktop client for MS Windows.

To enable the Nero CD/DVD Burning Helper

1. Open the Media Profiles window by selecting the Administration menu and clicking Media Profiles.
2. Select CD/DVD Media Type.
3. Select the Archive Helpers Settings group if (if it is not already selected).
4. Select the Nero Burning Helper from the Archive Helpers list.
5. Click Edit ( ) and select the Enabled checkbox.

1. Click Update ( ) when finished. The Nero CD/DVD Burning Helper will be enabled and can be used for Archiving to CD/DVD Media. See “Archiving with the Nero Helper” for more information.

You may wish to set this Helper Application as the default archiving Helper in the “CD/DVD Media Profiles”.
